St. Saviour's Calendar of Events 2024 / 2025

 ACTIVITIES THAT REPEAT EVERY MONTH AT ST. SAVIOUR'S, NELSON
These activites are in addition to the monthly list below... 

• Sundays ~ Church service 10:30 am followed by fellowship – Altar guild sets up 1st Sunday before the service
• Sundays ~ Sunday School, on the 1st Sunday of the month – contact Susan Barrett
• Sunday Lunch ~ Lunch is served to the hungry in Nelson 2-4 pm
• Mondays  ~ the Contemplatives meet the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month 
• Tuesdays ~ Church Council Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month 1-3 pm – contact Rev’d David
• Thursdays ~ Book Study 10-Noon in the Chapel, Food Pantry stocks shelves, Women’s Guild meets 2-4 pm
• Fridays ~ Choir practice every Friday at 2:00 pm and Altar Guild sets up altar following
• First Fridays ~ St. John in the Wilderness meets for a Friday night Vigil on the 1st Friday of the month
• Saturdays ~ Organ practice every Saturday morning
• First Saturdays ~ St. John in the Wilderness meets for a Saturday Service following the Friday vigil on the 1st weekend of the month

These activites are in addition to the monthly list below... 

• Sundays ~ Church service 10:00 am 
• Second Sundays ~ We offer a Worship Service the 2nd Sunday of the month at Victorian Health Centre Home at 2 pm 
• Mondays  ~ Bible Study ~ at 1:30 pm in the hall. Everyone is welcome. Contact Elizabeth Brandrick 
• Tuesdays ~ Al Anon meeting 4:30-6pm
• Every other Wednesday - on Wednesdays you can ask to meet with Rev'd David Burrows 10 - 4 pm
• Wednesdays ~ Al Anon meeting 5-6 pm, Choir practice 7 pm - confirm with Patty Robertshaw first
• Thursdays ~ The Knitting Group meets for needles and natter at 1:30 in the hall. Contact Elizabeth
